ANNOUNCEMENTS

Call to Prayer: Nepal

Our hearts are heavy with news of catastrophic flash flooding in Nepal. We seek God's comfort for those living in the affected region, as well for the families in Canada who are worried about their missing family and friends. We keep close Pastor Yam and Jesus First Assembly (Nepal/Bhutan) community church that worships at Valleyview, joining in prayer:

We lift our voices for the people of Nepal, who experienced severe flash flooding. Let us pray for safety, comfort, and rescue. Loving God, you see every family affected by these devastating floodwaters. We ask for mercy for those who are still missing or trapped. Protect the vulnerable and displaced. Grant strength, wisdom, and courage to first responders and local volunteers. Guide them safely to those in need. Supply clean water, food, shelter, and medical care to all who have lost everything. Remind the people of Nepal that they are not forgotten. Give us hearts of generosity and solidarity to support them in their recovery.

'God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

In Your loving mercy, hear our prayer. Amen.
