Lent to Easter 2026

For the Sundays during Lent through Easter, our worship services will focus on Dwelling in Dissonance using the resources provided in the Leader magazine. This year our Lenten Bible readings will be from the gospel of John. Unlike the other gospels, these scripture readings will explore the Holy Week story throughout all of our Lenten worship services. We will be invited to experience and linger in this final week of Jesus life and not rush into the time of Easter. This will be a time to dwell in the dissonance of knowing & not knowing, of seeing how things are instead of how we want them to be.

Pastoral Search Survey
The Pastoral Search Committee wants to hear from you!

We believe that every attendee of Valleyview has valuable insights that will help us in the search for our next pastor. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey and share your thoughts. The Pastoral Search Committee will collect these responses and present the results to the congregation during Second Hour February 22. This feedback will help to inform the committee as they create the Valleyview Congregational Profile and Pastor's Job Description.

All youth and adults in the congregation are invited to participate, regardless of church voting status.

You will find the link to the digital survey in our email sent to the congregation dated Thursday, February 5th. Anyone who prefers to complete a hard copy of the survey can find one at church February 8 or 15.

Please submit your responses electronically or using the box at church by February 15, 2026.

If you have any questions or would like support in completing the survey please contact a member of the Pastoral Search Committee: David H, Maggie P, Natalie J, Paul W, Rachel C
